Well, if the fight gets made at least no one can accuse Pac of ducking an old Mosley. God, that's got to be the worst consolation prize ever.
more or less, shane had dismantled the(not so great) highly rated margarito which looked good, especially when you consider that a great deal of people consider that PBF may have avoided margarito.
So let me ask you something. You think Shane Mosley, who lost almost every single round against Floyd Mayweather, then failed to beat Sergio Mora, (hasnt won a fight in TWO YEARS by the time he fights Pac) and entering the 40 year old club, and who pacs OWN TEAM said.... "WHATS THE POINT?" Should be getting a showdown with the p4p king? The best fighter of the decade? atsch Pac should be fighting a young undefeated champion coming off a big win, not a 40 year old who hasnt won a fight in two years.
And I hate to say it, but theres a big difference between the Mosley/Mayweather fight and the Pac/Mosley fight. When Mayweather fought Mosley, most people said he wouldnt take the fight, and in his last outting, albiet before a long layoff, Mosley was seen destroying Margarito. This is now going into 2011, Mosley lost 35 minutes out of 36 against Mayweather, and couldnt beat unranked Sergio Mora in his last fight. So no, its not exactly quite the same.
If this **** is made I'm gonna lose a lot of respect for Pac. They saw what Mosley did against Floyd, he only had two rounds in him, so why does Top Rank want him for Pac?:-(
If Bradley beats Alexander, he is a black american who is relatively young, is undefeated, and a champion in his prime, coming off a big win. Not only is that the kind of fighter who should be getting these kind of shots, but it is also the kind of fighter that Pac should be fighting now that hes beaten quite a few fighters who have been at the end of their road now.
pwill bradley i would rather see him give an up and comer like bradley, who could step up his game and fight to a dec, a fight, rather than a another shop-worn "name"
