Me too, as much as I like booth he is a great technician I feel quigg is going places and be to fresh for him, a stoppage would be very impressive if he got it.

Thoughts on a couple of the fights:
Paul David is a ****ing big super middle. Is Saunders really a super middle?? I feel like he is naturally a middle, but should be fighting light middle now and building up to middle. This fight worries me.
I expect Murray to pick up the British, so does this mean we could possibly get a merseyside derby against Paul smith (not the very popular paup snith) at the back end of this on the basis smiths comeback is successful?

Saunders ought to be able to beat Paul David though.....

Maybe they're doing this on purpose, there's been questions about his motivation before.

Granted I think Saunders has a good chance, but to me he look very fleshy at smw. A bold move....but is it the right one. Saunders punches well to the body. So the difference in height might allow him to get in some digs to the ribs. But David can crack. His ko percentage might not show it, but he is a strong guy. I've got a feeling this is all wrong for Saunders. Plus to me it's not the right weight for him

I don't think it's the right weight for him either, I saw him at York Hall with DeGale and there's a fair difference between the two for me. He might struggle to get down to 154 but 160 shouldn't be a problem.

I think DeGale will stay at 168 for a couple of years but will end up at 175 from then on.

I'm not to fussed about youngsters taking their prelim fights over their chosen weight class.... at least it's a change from Frank's usual policy of getting in smaller opponents.

saunders being put forward is just a **** up from the board.

he has never been above 163!

I've seen him a couple of times last time at the echo. He looked very good and mobile. Maybe the 160 shout is a fair one. The thing is Frank is trying to take him out of the prospect bracket very quickly, which is why I think he needs to consolidate at one weight, which he seems to be doing albeit the wrong one. Granted prospect fighters shouldnt have too much emphasis on exact weight, but they need to build records in divisions they can be competitive in. I just think he can be far more physically imposing at middle than smw.
Agree about jdg. He will transition to lh next two years, and be extremely comfortable there.
Clearly Frank is putting a lot of faith in to Billy jo at this early stage. Defo throwing more caution to the wind.
Just wish he had this policy years ago

It will be interesting to see the outcome. I mean maybe Frank will see the risk in it.
Maybe better to get him in line for the English at middle. The two lads fighting for it soon are relatively inexperienced also

Saunders vs David 100% will not happen.
