George Kid Lavigne," The Saginaw Kid" v Ike Williams
I would expect this one to be savage, 15rds . Has The Kid got a live chance here?

You do know Lavigne went the distance with Joe Walcott I suppose?

You have to be more specicific or he might think Jersey Joe started as a Lightweight!

Lavigne was an iron-jawed pressure fighter who was strong and impossible to discourage. He would muscle Ike around in the clinches and give him all sorts of problems. But between William's reach, power and boxing skills I can see him coming up with a hard earned decision win. Hard to envision him stopping the "Saginaw Kid".

If anyone could stop the Kid, Williams had the style to do so IMO.
