He needs to wind his neck in and honour his contract. Its one fight!!! Have the fight and move on to your new team or buy out your contract and move on to your new team, it's not hard.
I know you’re trolling but DAZN have let him headline shows where he couldn’t even sell double digit tickets out of his own hand, no-ones interested in him, and he reverted to type last time out as well…
Hasn't fought in 9 months and no fight scheduled. Yet another fighter wasting his prime - although to be honest I'm not entirely sure what the prime age of an octopus is.
Why am I trolling? Sky will make him more of a priority, better exposure etc. Probably pay him more too.
Because he’s had all the exposure before, through the BBC, Sky, DAZN, Matchroom, McDonalds, AJ & 258, BooHoo, the McGuigans, GRM Daily. And he still doesn’t move the needle whatsoever or sell tickets…
You’re making out he’s on chump change, he gets paid far more than he brings in, that’s for sure, include the complimentary Rolex…
People slate the lighter divisions but is there a more boring and slow division, competitively, than Cruiser? The WBSS in 2018 was absolutely fantastic but since Usyk went up to heavyweight and Gassiev too it's just taken too long for things to happen.
I agree. Either Okolie must box his last fight for Matchroom or else he must enter into a compromise and buy himself out of the contract. Sitting at home and complaining rarely does anything good.
He's been on sky most of his career, he still can't shift tickets. His hugging antics might have something to do with it.
If I was Hearn after he acted the tool. I would offer him his contractual minimum to fight Opetaia in Oz.
Hearn manoeuvred him into the position to fight for a world title. Honour the last fight and move on.
I don’t see how Hearn is to blame for this one. If it’s just one fight left on his deal, why not just do it, then he will be free to become the PPV superstar he thinks he will be. Not fighting and complaining just seems pointless.
