Have a feeling King Louie will bite us on the arse on the way to 2-1 win.

If fergie watched the Liverpool Vs Everton match i think we could really hammer them but im sure he will want to dominate from start to finish.

Anyone see Diouf's goal last night... I think he could be a great signing towards the end of the season

    TFFP - I'm going 2-1 United :good

We are looking very good at the moment (I know we wasn't great 1st half vs Milan) and as well as Everton are playing we've beaten them 13 times in the 18 (however many it is) at Goodison. Rooney is playing so well at the moment and Fletcher owns the Premiership so we'll be ok

LHL - I can't wait to see who'll be the worst at my wedding  My mate in the Army got married a fews years back and him and his twin got so pissed they stripped off COMPLETELY. Infront of Mum's, Gran's, Aunties, the lot. Brilliant :good

****ing dreading the first dance though :-( Shuffling around pretending I can dance :rofl

Think we'll struggle. Everton are playing well, Cahill's out though which is good and hopefully Arteta is still struggling to get up to speed.

We'll have to play better than in Milan I reckon. Hopefully Valencia starts, Nani was shite in the San Siro.

Fletch is a beast. I remember watching him in the reserves. Always stood out, way more than say Gibson and David Jones who was much touted before him. But then injuries held him back.

When he eventually got in the team and was always getting stick from all quarters I had faith he'd come good eventually, it was just the few years of development he lost and his frail physique holding him back. Never thought he'd become this good though...I was expecting him to become a reliable squad player but the lad is top class. There aren't too many who do the same job I'd take over him. He makes Owen Hargreaves a slightly pointless acquisition if he's ever fit again.

    Absolutely mate.

I've had an argument with you before with regards to Nani. I was saying basically he is useless. I remember a few years back watching him decemate Arsenal on his own virtually on the way to a 4-0 thumping in the FA Cup some years back. He never regained that form and I was giving him a right going over. You were defending him to an extent and his recent performances were giving me a reason to believe he was the player we'd saw glimpses of years back. I hope to God that that Milan match wasn't the start of the 3 year bad run again

Nani ON HIS DAY is unbelievable but his days are so far and between its ridiculous. Valencia probably isn't so talented when it comes to his absolute A Game but he's very very good and has been constantly for us. A much safer bet IMO

Was pissed off with Nani big time the other night. To be fair though he was the only one out of Rooney, Park and him making a move upfront for the first half. You could see scholes looking at Nani then looking around for someone who was playing better only to go back to Nani for his movement. Not sure where the **** park was supposed to be playing the other night. Left wing, attacking midfield or playing off rooney

And yep. I always stuck up for him too. The only real problem to his game was that he could be handled off the ball pretty easily. He's filled out quite a bit now and is probably one of three names that should be first on the team sheet (Rooney and Evra being the others).

It speaks volumes when Rooney goes on TV and says he believes you to be one of the best Midfielders in Europe and claims he wouldn't swap you for a single player in the world :yikes

Agreed with all that. I think LHL is more of a Nani lover than me, and there is a loon in the Lounge that licks Nani's balls no end. But I have defended him, I think in general we've seen promising signs on the RIGHT of midfield recently and hopefully the Milan game was not him returning to his old self but merely a blip in his current form. Who knows..its Nani.

Valencia would always be my first choice though, don't think he gets enough credit. What's the difference between him and Aaron Lennon that everybody gushes over? They are both kick and run merchants. Valencia is more productive in terms of goals too. I think he was well worth the 15 million, thats a good price for a decent winger in todays market, there aren't many good wingers out there.

My only problem with Valencia is not taking players on he could rip half the left backs apart but seems to freak out when they get close. He plays to his strengths and thats it hopefully he tries to improve this though

Valencia got a lot of Unwarranted stick at the beginning of the season. It was always gonna come when he wasn't smashing free kicks into top corners, or stepping over the ball 5 times. We would never replace Ronaldo that easily however he is very solid and Ronaldo didn't completely make us.

You would think Valencia would be worked out. His modus operandi seems to be..kick ball on outside of defender...cross ball. Repeat. Very occasionally he comes inside but if I was a full-back I'd rather he did that, he has no left foot to speak of.

But he's been doing it for a few seasons in the PL with success...if it works it works. I'm happy with him, there isn't great quality on the market as far as wingers. Ronaldo and Messi are more forwards. Ribery is good. But apart from that? I'm pretty comfortable with Valencia, 15 mill for a PL proven winger that is pretty productive was a shrewd buy.

    Yep.

We really do need another high quality midfielder though. And Giggs is gonna need replacing soon too. People writing us off suits us. We have gone through phases like this around 4/5 times since the start of the PL and every time people have written us off. A playmaker in the middle and a replacement for Giggs and we are outstanding in all departments again (assuming our defence gets sorted when they are fit together)
