He really should be every time he gets the ball you know what he's going to do if he's got no one marking him he will feint about 3 or 4 times before giving a good ball in. when he is closed down he panics and plays it back. The fact defenders haven't figured him out is wild. I like how he makes defenders come to him only for him to beat them for acceleration rather than pace though. Park looks to be on the left would like Obertan to get a full game while he has the chance he has some good passing skills
I agree. Not entirely sure we've got replacements for Scholes and Giggs. I hate the word replacements because it implies they are going to come and do what Giggs/Scholes have done, but yeah, we need somebody who can fill those roles. Apparently we've got plenty to spend so it would be no problem  If we do have the money that shill David Gill claims we have I'd like to see Silva brought in. He's had a pretty average season and maybe a few have forgot about him but he definitely has class in abundance and I could see him covering both roles quite nicely. He can play advanced in a midfield 3 or on the left. Another shrewd buy could be Joao Moutinho. He was a hot prospect but he's been pretty bad for an underachieving Sporting team this season. I reckon a move would be what he needs to reignite his career, I'm sure he'd be a lot cheaper at this point than he would have been a few seasons ago. He hasn't got **** overnight just needs a new challenge :deal Wouldn't say no to a striker either. Don't think Welbeck or Macheda are ready and I'd let Owen go, he's an unneccessary drain on the wage bill and SAF clearly thinks hes ****. That leaves Berbatov and the lad Diouf alongside Rooney. It would be a crazy gamble to put that pressure on Diouf so I do think we might need someone. Dzeko would be a dream :blurp
Yeah I like the look of Obertan however I think Gary Neville has a more accurate shot. Jesus I cannot remember which game it was I last saw him he spooned around 5 sitters in one match
Yeah I was thinking striker too however it'd be in our interest to sort out the midfield first. As much as Gill talks a big bank I genuinely don't believe a word of it and I can't see us being able to go out and splash out on 2/3 big signings. £30m would probably be tops for us this summer.
**** we're really gonna need a GK too. Ben Foster is a mental midget and we're relying on an OAP at the moment, great as he is. PIG is a good back-up but he never for one minute has the look of a #1 about him. I make that 4 signings that could put us right up there again. Uncle Malc needs to show us the money :hi:
Strikers are sorted TFFP i thought you knew of the messiah Josh King Wellbeck to me looks like Ebanks Blake 2.0 fergie playing him on the left that time against Sunderland made me think it was time for the glue factory. Agreed Dan Obertan looks good except for inside the box i reckon i could do better and i'm useless.
Apparently Welbeck is doing well for Preston. Read one of their forums and they're happy with him, apparently one of the few bright sparks in a **** team. I havn't lost all faith yet. Point is I don't think we can rely on Diouf/Welbeck/Macheda/King as our THIRD choice striker if we let Owen go. They are only ready for 4th choice and Carling Cup games. Imagine a big European tie and Rooney is injured...****. Personally I'd **** Owen off because he's a twat and he's lost the one thing he was good at... I'd send Macheda out on loan, I think it would really benefit him. I'd keep King at the club to develop, he's really young, he's only just got into the reserves this year. Welbeck I'd consider sending on loan again, maybe keep him as an emergency winger and to compete with Diouf for the fourth choice spot. Depends how our summer signings go. Rooney, (new striker), Berbs, Diouf. Pretty good strike-force.
What about that lad Dzagoev from CSKA Moscow? He really impressed me when he played us, the *******. Think he could be a terrific 'replacement' for Scholes. His technique was brilliant and he looked like he could score goals from midfield. He's my first choice ahead of Moutinho, I've decided. I bet Fergie noted it, he likes signing players that do well against us :deal This content is protected
Yep mate. I remember him. Not followed him too much at all to be honest but he certainly impressed me then. Yeah Fergie does like that too Can't blame him though. If they are good enough to do well against us in inferior teams then they will be doing well for themselves
Oh the wonder of YouTube. What a finish. I remember some nice passing throughout the games from him too. Checked Wiki...has a 1 in 3 scoring record and only 19 yrs old. Seems a go-er...great potential. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HW7rZrYDPBE[/ame]
I ****ing hate Man United. Anyway I don't think I've ever seen Lawton actually win a fight. How the hell did he get a European title shot? Just looking at a couple of the other guys wins before the fight, it was only going to go one way.
