    I already said I don’t agree with the call. But no need to pretend that Wood was not in serious trouble. He was wobbling the whole time he was up. What happened in a previous fight is irrelevant.

    As you know I am no fan of Davidson as a trainer but I can’t really fault him throwing in the towel in this one because Wood went down heavily and was not in control of himself. I know you may have wanted Wood to win and honestly I had no pre-fight favourite but after the 1st 2 rounds I was pretty confident on the stoppage outcome.

    Don’t know that at all and like I said he was facing a Mexican assassin and his defence was porous which means Lara could get to him. This way he gets to fight another day.
