They have this new rule where you are allowed to punch back. Apparently word had not reached Britain.

LL is as accomplished a trainer as he was a colour commentator.

Lewis will move on to someone else now. They were talking about it after the fight.

    Trainers don't fight the fights.

Price could have worked with a team of Garcia, Roach, Hunter, and Uncle Rog all on the same page, excited to work together, and he still would have lost to Thompson.

IMO there is a big difference between when W;ad gassed vs Brewster and how Price looked. Wlad actually beat the living **** out of Brewster. Price really didnt even work very hard.

Price probably threw 30% of the punches Wlad did. Price's stamina was god awful.

    Price is ****.

Ask Lennox to train any one of you guys and the results wouldn't be much better or worse.

Lewis did not have enough time with Price to make a real difference. Price should continue his career, get a conditioning coach, esp. the conditioning coach that Marquez hired before he fought Pac. Marquez hired the world's top steroid expert and the world's best on cheating drug tests. Marquez' conditioning coach testified against his so-called friends to keep from going to prison. There are plenty of articles about Marquez' conditioning coach, so go into the archives and read about him. Price would become superman with Marquez' steroid expert..............

Price is a good man, and i have respect for him, and for Thompson also. They showed good heart, and a spectacular and thrilling fight, but Price simply lost his mind on the ring.....
He doesn't have stamina issues, he just gassed out because of an excessive pace of the fight following the Thompson amazing knockdown; he lost his mind, he tought to be able to blast him out and to prove the world he's worked hard, but he messed up, missing a TON of shots and doing stupid amateurish things like jumping on his foot, constantly, and not keeping the distance with the jab.
    His only problem is mental.
Anyway, it's nice to see so many peoples feels empaty for him.
Lennox Lewis, Chrys Byrd, Thompson himself, they all have been really gentle and respectful with him, and that's really nice.

Good fighters usually make bad trainers and vice versa.

Agreed, when Wlad gassed he was throwing 70+ punches a round and most of them power punches. Price threw a very average number of punches for a heavyweight and looked exhausted. Don't think I have ever seen a fighter look so poor in terms of stamina.
