Yeah he’s pretty bad, Mora and RJJ are the best fighters turned commentators in my opinion. Paulie M wasn’t bad either.
Yeah he's bad as one. Bradley and Ward are worse who are obviously bias. RJJ and Foreman are better who are generally neutral and objective. Holyfield and Tyson are generally neutral and objective too in interviews and fighter assessments, but they are not quite suitable commentators.
And he's never improved. He was a regular on big fights years ago; I'm sure during reviews his managers told him he was talking like he had marbles in his mouth. Everyone starts up in a job doing poorly, the deal is to get better. He's never raised his speech game.
He is not articulate. He knows boxing but struggles to convey that knowledge in to word. I cringe watching him trying to dissect a fight.
I don't like either tbh. More usally talks a lot of bull **** and RJJ, although was good when he first started out, he faded fast. I quite liked Tarver personally, albiet he also had some humdingers. This content is protected
