We each have our own criteria as to how we conduct ourselves. I think you're off on this but that's just my take, well actually it isn't, I don't see anyone agreeing with your stance here.
Okay I recant all my arguments about who Ali and his family chose to partake in his funeral ceremony. Its their choice after all, and the important thing is, is that Ali be honored in the best way fitting. I'll miss the man terribly. He was one of the inspirations of my youth, as were some of the men who were selected to honor him..
I was worried there was a rift developing and, as I said I like your posts Mr M .No harm has been done , let us move gracefully on.:good
Not sure Ali would want a convicted ****** on his coffin, but hey, what would i know. Absurd to say those two should have been asked.
I wouldn't say absurd. Muhammad Ali was in his 30s, married, and had five kids when his 16-year-old high school junior girlfriend Wanda Bolton had their daughter. If Lebron James got a 16-year-old high school girl pregnant today, his butt would be in prison for statutory ****.
I think either Tyson or Holyfield would also be good picks because they point is that it was Ali's decision to make, not ours. And who are we to second guess whatever choice he makes?
Irregardless when you add quitting and biting his way to DQ in the ring it's a no brainer for mine. I'm not Tyson hater but he had no place on tis particular casket. Holyfield, yes i'd concede he'd be a very good candidate. But to say those two should have been there when we don't know their exact relationship to Ali is pushing it to say the least. Especially from a known Lewis hater.
