    Of course he's top 50.
Watching Lewis school Tua at the moment and the disappointment in Lampley and Merchants commentary that Lewis isn't being beaten is ****ing disgusting. Foreman sounds like he's gonna ko one of them any second.

Exactly. If anyone doesn't think so they should be able to name 50 better.

nah... I like him but nah. Certainly not a p4p ATG, but the best of his time. Maybe. I think Tua or Ike could have gotten him, if they hadn't gotten each other first. Tyson could have, if he could have kept his head together, and I could put together a list of quite a few older HW's like Liston that I think could have taken him out. I'm not sure he's even a top 10 HW champ, let alone a top 50 ATG.

I know, this way posters would have to answer for their votes.

How do you figure? He had a good jab and an excellent right hand, his defense was entirely predicated on being tall and keeping guys off him with the jab. That doesn't make him a great boxer. There are probably 1000 guys from lightweight to welterweight with a better toolbox and a wider range of skills.

When you are talking all weight classes, I don't if the man would be one of the fifty best fighters in history, even if he would fit amongst the top 25 HWs of all time.

This is f'in ridiculous. There's not a poster on this board that couldn't name 200 better p4p fighters probably right off the top of their head. I don't get it.

He deserves to be above Hopkins, IMHO. So yes.

It has to be P4P. Otherwise the thread is an insult. Top 5 HW
