Patterson would be an underdog but he's been sold short.

    Floyd's greatest performance.

I love Patterson, but LL ko's him early...within a round or 2 or 3...overwhelming Floyd with his power and great physical advantages...but there's no shame in that, as Lewis is at the top of the elite in heavyweight history IMO.

Lewis only blasted out big lugs that stood in front of him and played it very very safe against small threats, he would never open up on the inside against Patterson like Liston did. He would get put on his ass by a lunging hook if he tried reaching down for short hooks like that.

Given both men's vulnerabilites, I could see this going a Trilogy witih both men trading knockout losses. Lewis is not Sonny..I repeat not Sonny Liston.

lewis will nail him with his jab and keep him at bay floyd would not be able to get any type of offensive strategy off and this would be a basis that would allow lewis to land right hands at will before hitting floyd with a one two to the chin and sending floyd face first into the canvas for the count of ten:yep:think

This thread was not done possibly because the answer is so obvious.

A clear case of a 'good big man beating a good little man'.

Let me get this straight? a 190lbs fighter who lost to the Jerry Quarry and Jimmy Ellis.... up against a 247lbs technically gifted and fairly quick guy who took bombs off of the likes of Briggs, Tua, Tyson and Mercer without flinching.... is this even debateable?

    Lewis by KO.

I'm not sure he'd get the job done early though.
He might choose to bore the **** out of us for 6 or 7 rounds, or longer.

If Patterson lands his "gazelle hook" it's lights out for Lennox.

Actually he got robbed in the Ellis fight and against Quarry he won those too.

Anyways, Quarry and Ellis are totally different in comparison to Lewis, much different fights for Patterson.

I see Lewis winning it too, and early, but if Lewis doesn't get it done early I wonder how it will unfold :think

Floyd would win,,,,,,,,,only if he got advice from 'Steppin Fetchin',,

of course he only taught that famous 'anchor punch' to Muhammad Ali,

and the great wrestler,,,,'The Fabulous Moolah'
