I think Holyfield's skills and boxing ability is way underrated as well. He often abandoned them to engage in close furious combat, but believe me he had them.

I think this fight is a toss up. im too tired and bored to go into more lengths. I will say this, I think lennox's smartest plan would be to try to oubox dempsey from a distance and win a decision, cause if he tries to get cute dempsey will catch him and finish him.

Anyone here think Dempsey can put away lennox with one punch? like B level fighters mccall and rahman did?

In theory, any heavyweight can knockout any heavyweight particularly where big punchers are concerned. So, yes Dempsey could in theory take out Lewis with one punch.

Dempsey is reduced to the proverbial puncher's chance for me. BUT. All you guys are full of ****. There's not one of you in here saying "Lewis Lewis Lewis" who wouldn't be crapping yourself on fight night with Jack in the other corner. Dempsey's offensive arsenal and Lewis' goodish chin make this a powder keg at best.

To those of you shouting LEWIS, just how aggressive do you think he would be? He would be more reticent against a peak Dempsey than he was v Tyson, that's for sure. He doesn't want to get hit by this "cruiser".

Having said all that, i'll take Lewis around 10.

Probably the same people who think Jeffries had a chance vs Ali.

No. you're wrong. There'll be another dominant 188 pound heavyweight champion again soon. He'll KO everyone in sight and will insist that he doesn't build up at all because he's sacrificying his speed
