That was an epic destruction

 

The thing is that Michael Grant was a decent fighter, Wilder is 25% a fighter Grant was.

 

And look what LL did to him

 

My jaw fell open when Grant got up from that third knockdown, those rights were murderous.

And another classic ******ed George line in "that's it he broke his leg!"

Haha foreman was awesome, that broadcast team is my favourite of all time, punch drunk George and senile merchant. The crazy thing about that fight is grant drilled Lewis in the first 15 seconds and stunned him. I rarely watch heavyweights anymore but you can't beat the tension of those fights, any punch can change everything.

Anyone else have a problem with Lewis grabbing the back of his head and hammering uppercuts? I don't know how he was allowed to get away itch that for years.

 

Yeah that was mad dirty he would pull his head down and throw the uppercut .. But Grant wasn't experienced enough to address it to the ref .

 

Ya he did that on the first knockdown and then put him down with the ear shot. And then finished him off with the head grab uppercut in the 2nd round. Great fight though its a shame what's happened to the hws it was so great with moorer, bowe, Holyfield, Lewis etc.

 

Lennox would have put Wilder away with a few stiff jabs.

 

We need a thriving HW division !If we did we wouldn't have had to,put of with the current state of the game
