Hatton has to make Floyd take notice early and presure him into a pace that Floyd isn't comfortable with.. Crowd him and make it physial........

If Floyd sets his stall up and gets comfortable Hatton may be up againt an uphill struggle.........

Hatton can win this if Floyd takes him lightly and i have a sneaky suspician that he is being overlooked a little...

Here's something Hatton could do is get on the inside of Floyd's punches ..Smother them make him hit skull if he can manage to injure Floyd's hands the fight is his ..Another thing Hatton needs a jab to set up his punches ..In the DLH fight the only time I saw where Floyd could get hit clean is when he backs up ..Its going to be a long night for Ricky if he can't off set Floyd's rythem !

Big difference between Duran and Hatton. Hatton will smother his way through the whole 12 if need be. He isn't much off from John Ruiz except smaller and faster and more creative with his punches.

This kind of fight can be the achilles heel for Mayweather. Though we've seen Hatton's game minus the clinching (against Collazo) and he didn't look terribly impressive.

Mayweather is gonna have to be prepared to fight Hatton very close, where short body shots and uppercuts will be the order of the day. He'll have to keep his elbows tight to avoid Hatton's body shots and he'll have to put that jab in Hatton's face whenever there is room. Though I'd imagine there will be little room.

If Hatton does what got him there, which is fight a spoilers fight, rush in and lock Mayweather up, it will be Mayweather who will be in for a very long night. Hatton will reduce Mayweather to his game. But if Hatton elects to give Mayweather room, forget it. It'll be Mayweather all the way.

Hatton absolutely cannot win fighting the way he did against Collazo. And I think he knows that.

:rofl :rofl :rofl Question though what does " lots of fans " equate too in numbers ? Ihonestly think that the people that come to see him fight are more in admaration of his skills then actually a fan of the man ..

He probably has 1/3 the fans of Hatton. I'm not a fan of the bad guy act, but he seems like a decent man with his kids etc. I hope so anyway. Of course most of the popularity comes from people who want to see him lose. Everybody loves the underdog especially when going up someone great

You are 100% correct about the skills comment.

I think you are correct. Hatton knows, this Floyd knows, Does the ref. know this? I do think Hatton does need to try to mix from the outside at least a little bit so he's less predictable. If that prooves futile, then it's gotta be ugly inside all the way.

He has what you might call "anti-fans." People who buy tickets to see him get beat. In the past most of his big fights came about from his opponent's drawing power.

LOL! I'm a HUGE Floyd fan but all I'd do is keep drinking and turn my Xbox 360 back on. I would be COMPLETELY shocked though!

Floyd doesn't take anybody lightly! He knew he Gatti wasn't in his league but did it look like he took him lightly?
