more like 'go all out and get him early', which is sound advice, Hatton's a fast starter anyway, his energy tends to dip in the middle rounds and his second wind comes on around the eighth. Unless he makes a huge impression early it's easy to imagine Mayweather domintating the middle rounds and then having Hatton so completely figured out by the last few that there's no way back into it for him.

I really have to rewatch that first fight between Duran and Leonard to make something out of it and the parallel with this one but Howard Cossel was so damn slow commenting that 15 rounder that it really makes me want to commit suicide. Well, from what I can remember at this point, Duran definitely was doing the effective thing as he was attacking him against the ropes and getting off in tidal motion. I don't quite recall how did Leonard get there in the first place but that issue is very important undeed. Leonard was circling and out-punching Duran in the rematch and that has to do only with Leonard... Finally, I think Lewis has too much respect for Mayweather and should not be giving advice to Hatton publicly cause he's supposed to be a neutral commentator on HBO, not on Setanta or Sky Sports (?)... Otherwise, are Bert Sugar, Ron Borges and Manny Steward giving advice openly to Mayweather?
