My point was Lennox is the mroe natural fighter, he fights back when hurt, wheras Wlad freezes and panics. Lennox does have better defense and movement under pressure. I'm not sure if Wlad has overall better handspeed its close. Lennox has better timing on his shots though, which is all important Lennox was tactical but when he saw an opportunity he had that killer instinct. Hes likely you have that against Wlad. Wlads current technique is tight guard and be very very conservative, he doesn't like exchanging since settling at the top level and overcoming his setback. Wlad might hurt or even KD Lennox if he gets off first but Lennox gets sloppy but when Lennox hurts Wlad. In this fight he'd have to exchange and when that happens I can only see 1 winner. I wouldn't be too suprised if this goes the way of the Golota/Rudduck/Briggs fights. Lennox usually tried to close the gap and rush the other super heavies he fought. Wlad is a poor mans Lennox Lewis, which is actually compliment, hes very good just not on the level of Lennox
Wlad hasn't fought an opponent of Lewis's calibre before. I think the step up in class would be very difficult for him to overcome and could lead to him freezing again. Lewis early ko.
Sometimes Lewis just went down for the count and failed to beat the count. In fact Lewis never got off the floor to win in the pro's. I think Lewis was somewhat lucky to stop Bruno. He was in trouble, behind and landed a despriation hook back up, with his eyes off the target to win. Maybe this is not a lucky shot, but it was an unlikely way to win for sure. I think Wlad has better footspeed / footwork. He really does, and I also think Wlad's defense now is very good. He can block, prarry, lean away, and clinch very well. Wlad is not lazy like Lewis can be with his guard or jab. At their best, I go with Lewis, but I still see this pretty much as a pick em' fight. Wlad is not a poor man's Lennox Lewis. He is can be compared to Lewis in more ways than one. With some quality time left, Wlad can add to his legacy.
To make things simple, Lennox responded well to pressure, Wlad generally doesn't. To me that's the big difference. Of course Wlad has a chance, but he will not be able to get away fighting his typical fight against Lewis. I think Lennox wins by KO in 6 rounds or less.
My turn,I think Lewis is superior in most departments ,including chin ,I see him coming out firing and taking Wlad out quickly ,as Chris Pontius said ,Lennox took the fight to the big guys, this would be like the Grant /Golota fights imo.
