Good stuff. It might be a trick to keep him fit and healthy at lightweight especially if he is dieting hard to make 63. . Obviously thats your forte so he's in good hands. If he feels fine back at 135, maybe he'l change his mind about fighting Ganoy.
I won't go into too much detail, as that is how I make my living, but the guys eat 5 meals a day and everything is fresh (eg, meat, fruit, veges, etc). But it's not only what you eat, it's also the type of exercise you do. Too many people try to lose weight by just smashing themselves but a hard session doesn't necessarily equate to a high calorie burning session (but a high calorie burning session can be a hard session). The trick is to get loads of calories burnt in a session, but not knock the athlete around (soreness, etc) enough so that it affects the rest of their training over the course of the day/week/etc.
Just to elaborate further on the 'Hard Session' vs the 'High Calorie Session'. If you were to do a weight training circuit where you had no break between exercises, you would absolutely smash yourself, but maybe only burn 500 calories (plus be sore for days). Whereas, if you trained smarter you'd burn 700-800, and be able to train again that afternoon.
Lennys is on the Grange/Billy Hussein co-promotion on July 24 at Club Marconi. It's a fox show. I know they have offered Onikeke and Egberime the fight. Also on the card is Ganoy, Paulley, Medley, Dean Russell and Hussy Hussein is the main.
Zappa v filipino Rey Anton Olartes. July 24 on Fox. Anton is a southpaw with some pop. He has won his last three and will do his best.
I wont argue with the thumbs down to Zap v Olartes. But I do know that Lennys team had approached Egberime and were obviously rejected. Onikeke was also looked at but they ran in to logistical problems there. Gostelow is out of the country by all reports so that was that.
Yes i heard Egberime didnt want the fight which is a shame. Yeah with Onikeke's main trainer being overseas didnt help. I guess that fight could be down the road soon. I dont think Lance's team would take on Lenny at this stage. I would back Lenny everytime.:deal
