how do we know a 14 day proposal was made?....cause floyd says so?....floyd & arum may hate eachother but they're a lot more alike than you think.
LOL @ both of these camps. If Arum is lying, it's no worse than Schaefer's piece of **** ass. Both camps have embarked on their own smear campaign. It's all a bunch of he said she said ****. Truth of the matter is nobody will ****ing know what's really going down except the two camps themselves. They'll issue statements like this back and forth long after the fight is really dead. It'll only result in the "Floyd's a *****," "If Manny ain't got nothing to hide, then why not agree to the testing?" argument that'll go on and on here. **** both of their promoters.
The mediator said Pac team is lying. I believe the mediator more than I believe that phony, quick to answer Arum.
Bottom line is there should have never been a stupid extra test. It amazes me how his nuthuggers claim this is such an easy fight then turns right around and blames the other guy for not making the fight when it was PBF demand that killed it. If he is the better boxer and would make Pac look stupid then why the **** did he throw a wrench in the negotiation?
The 14 day window is not a "concession" from Floyd's camp. Don't get that **** twisted. If the fight was signed and blood testing was ADDED to the contract, then any blood testing closer to the fight is a feather in Mayweather's cap. Pac could refuse to give blood testing altogether. Pac could stay firm on the 3 proposed blood tests. Pac didn't need to nudge the cutoff window from 30 to 24 days but he did. If Pac had his way, do you think there'd be any blood testing? Of course not. So while 30 day cutoff to 14 day cutoff seems reasonable to us, it's just simple math. But doesn't matter what cutoff period there'd be. Whether it be 50-60 day cutoff, blood testing is Mayweather's demand. He's the one that's saying it's either 14 days of a cutoff or **** off.
The mediator really didn't say they were "lying." Basically said they violated the gag order and he presumed a neutral stance saying that the statements were not wholly accurate, but they weren't lying either. I'm sure this has to do with the "2 day business window" they have left to get something done behind the scenes. After that, I'm not sure if we'll hear what really went down behind closed doors.
Yeah, they both probably lie. The only difference is Floyd has been silent with little chance to do the lieing. Ellerbe and Floyd have said this. So you think that this is a big conspiracy for Floyd and his team to save his reputation for refusing a mega fight? Or bull**** and posturing on both sides. With Arum ommiting, misleading, and lieing... along with Schaefer having done his share. I go with the latter. :good
