In my experience of this board it was largely a group of Floyd fans making excuses as to why Floyd shouldn't fight Canelo (weight difference). As was pointed out many times, Floyd never stated anything about the weight difference preventing him signing the fight.

A quick tip though: these kinds of threads work best if you name and shame and provide actual quotes from users who are contradicting themselves rather than perceiving two different attitudes from different sources as coming from the same source.

"I look at Miguel Cotto as an undefeated fighter because he faced Pacquiao, but Pacquiao caught him at a catch weight. He wasn't the best Miguel Cotto. He was drained. He wasn't hydrated"

Fights Canelo at Catchweight! We said he has to fight Canelo at his weight! Now he will face a Canelo who will be even more drained. This guy cant fight fo 3 minutes at light middleweight. It will be even worse at the catchweight.

Stop being ridiculous, its 2lbs for the weigh in. Canelo will rehydrate to around 170lb come fight night-he does at 154 now. If he is drained and weak at 152 then he is at 154. 2lbs can mean a lot but not in this instance, not when he can rehydrate to those levels

    Typical numbskull.

Just this month, someone asked what Floyd's best move would be, and you said the following:

Floyd decides to fight Canelo... and now you're saying the fight is a joke? Moron.

ummmm....Canelo only needed to fight 1 minute of each rds to beat Trout. Its how he fights. He plays it safe doing just enough during the lulls in action, then goes for the kill.

Very old school fighter, Canelo is.:deal

I was merely saying that those fights are better than the alternatives, like I'd rather see him fight that list than the alternatives I mentioned so you fail again.
