Yes He could beat Cotto, but not skilled wise Cotto is way more skilled, but with strength, power and durability. Cotto is a old damaged little fighter, compared to a full grown middle that in the future will compete at super and maybe light heavyweight and is only competing at middle because He has a change to fight one of the top four biggest draw in the sport (Floyd, Pac, Cotto, Canelo) When He getsthe s****om by beating one of them , I'm sure He will move up and try the bigger weights, People only want GGG to fight Cotto because He is the exiting new kid on the block that everyone wants it to become a star, but this fight is only served to give GGG a belt other than that is a mismatch that I would not pay to see. On other hand Cotto vs Canelo is a better fight or even Canelo vs GGG because of size. Cotto need to drop at least to Jr middle but I would love to see Him fight at welter, because I'm sure He can make the welterweight limit sadly He is freaking rich and do not need to sacrifice any more to get fights, like GGG is willing to do.

    Sadly, you are correct.

There is NO POSSIBLE outcome in this fight, besides maybe an early head-clash cuts stoppage that would be pleasant to watch.

It would be sanctioned assault to put Cotto in the ring with Golovkin.

Even as a fan of GGG, I don't want to see Cotto get in the ring with GGG. That is unless he is prepared to take a knee early and admit he can not compete at that level.:-(

Cotto is a great boxer, but I think it would be a war Cotto would not win.

Golovkin would be favourite but so was martinez.

I don't see cotto remaining in the division much longer anyways.

I think Cotto would outbox GGG. GGG could get the late stoppage though

Dirrel with his height, reach, speed and slickness, couldn't outbox GGG in the olympics,

    - but Cotto with his little t-rex arms and the stature of a midget will beat him using his slow motion?

Granted, Cotto has strong little arms, and he is a pretty big midget, but what would possibly make a guy think this match would be anything but child abuse?

Dirrell and GGG are 1-1 in the AMs. Cotto has great timing which trumps length.

Wow if you really think Cotto has any chance against GGG YDKSAB.

Cotto hasn't won a fight against a decent opponent since 2009. (Clottey) Even then he struggled in that fight despite Clottey's injury... It was almost a draw in fact.
