Nothing would give a bigger boost to British boxing than a British world heavyweight champion.

Surely a rematch wouldn't have to take place in Germany? He was mando, so surely Wlad couldn't draw up one of his traditional slave contracts?

Im 90% sure the rematch clause in contract states the same arena for fight. ..if fury pulls it off tmz. ...id say april 18th....week after pacquiao last fight

I'm in Switzerland. Setting off to Dusseldorf tomorrow to see him do it. Cost me hundreds more and a lot of stress after Klitschko's pull out. We will see what happens but I'm behind Fury all of the way.

I personally prefer him a lot more to David Haye but the left wing PC media seems to love David Haye, one can only assume it's because he isn't white because that gives one massive plus with Guardian readers. It can't be because of his fan friendly style, attitude towards fans, media comments or lack of excuse making because we all know Fury is way ahead of him in all of those areas.

Anyway here's to a real Brit going up against the odds, Tyson Fury.

Good luck Tyson Fury, really hope he can pull this one off.

Even if he doesn't win, a Froch/Groves 1 type of fight would be great with Fury hurting Wlad at times being up on points and getting stopped controversially late on. The clamour for a rematch in the UK would be huge if the fight turned out this way.

Rematch clause is in Germany as part as not going to purse bids. I suspect if somehow Fury knocks out Wlad then the rematch wouldn't be immediate so Fury could take an interim fight.

Could Mick afford to promote Fury as the Heavyweight Champion however? Fury isn't Hearn's biggest fan and Frank isn't interested anymore so he has limited options. If Fury is the Champion he may have to box in America for Uncle Al.

Generally, but not always I think for the love of the sport it is important to support professional fighters like Wlad who come in shape and fight the best.

Let's bang the drum for Fury, regardless of the result Fury is doing it the hard way and you have to respect that.

In my opinion the heavyweight division is in desperate need for bore klitscko ( spl ) to lose. Good luck Fury it's a tough task but most of the Brits are behind you :happy
