Every round after the 3rd I thought this is it, he won't make it out of this round, and every round up till the 9th he proved me wrong. Great heart and a tough cookie to boot.

Props to the cutman also. He did a bang up job on diaz's eye. That was a nasty little cut right there. Developed fairly early too.

    :happy to diaz

    :good to the cutman!

In all honesty I was humbled by what that man endured last night. For all the douche bags that like to run their mouths about "not so special" "C" level fighters....... -----> :****off Grow a DICK!

Yeah, much respect to the guy. He was outclassed in there but he refused to back down, went out on his shield and even gave a classic interview afterwards.

I respected him even before the fight... he was always classy during the pre fight interviews and he is a genuinely nice person.

sad to see him get flattened like that. :-(

he should have been stopped by the ref.

he was barely landing a punch and getting nailed time and again.

his corner didn't help matters either.

Must not have seen Campbell-Juan Diaz, Juan Diaz proved immense more toughness in that fight vs. a much more lethal Nate Campbell.
Must have missed Campbell breaking Diaz's defence down and landing 3-4 shot combo's consistently after the 9th round and Juan taking it with a massive swell and cut.

i saw it and imo, david diaz is tougher. campbell walks thru juan diaz' punches because juan has not much pop and gets the previous ko's thru accumulation. juan is tough for surviving campbell but the fight is not exactly as one sided as the pac-d.diaz match. and besides campbell's workrate is not much compared to pac. meanwhile d. diaz was punished by all kind of shot in pac's arsenal from the get go. still he braved a very one-sided beating at a very high pace until the 9th round.

Props to Diaz. He gave all he can in that but. Manny is just too much for him.
