I really think that a lot of people who don't like Mayweather (basically boxing fans in general ) would give him a ton of respect for facing Cotto and if he beat him clearly, he would get a huge amount of credit. Only complete haters of Mayweather wouldn't give him credit after that, but who cares about them? I actually think a DLH fight makes this matchup more possible. Cotto will probably stop DLH and the result will be more impressive than Floyd's close decision win over him. It makes Cotto a bigger star and Floyd-Cotto a much bigger event to average PPV buyers.
