Let's remind ourselves that David Diaz is nothing special.

marquez should have more of an easy time, casa is shot and katsidis wasn't even a gauge..if someone like sta. cruz would dominate him moreso for marquez. Plus GBP would have marquez to win so they could set up a 3rd fight with pac, no way casa gets this even if he does win by decision. Imo he needs a KO win

Enough of this ****, for the JMM-Pac rematch, the Pac team was given the choice by the JMM team whether to make the fight at 130 lbs or 135 lbs, you wont see even a single ******* on this board say otherwise.

Pac chose to fight JMM at 130 lbs, stop with these lame excuses.

A higher weight only benefits the more skilled boxer.

wrong..marquez holds a belt at 130 so it is more meaningful at 130

    plus the ringbelt

I agree its an easy win for JMM becuase Casamayor has seen his better days and is bordering on the line to shotness!

.....in any regards, even a shot version of Casamayor is more than twice the fighter that David Diaz is!

Casamayor because of his experience, savy, and outright nastiness as a dirty fighter, is beyond anything that David Diaz could muster up!

.....but still agree, Casamayor should be easy pickings for a fighter of JMM's caliber still fighting at a high level!

Stop with your nonsense CJ, you know damn well that one of the excuses that Pac made for trying to wiggle his way out of the rematch that all boxing fans wanted to witness, was that he could'nt make 130 lbs any longer.......

.....to that, JMM said, not a problem, we'll fight at 135 lbs......when the fight was finally agreed to, the Pac team said, forget about the fight at 135 lbs, we want the fight at 130 lbs.

It was Pac's choice and he chose 130 lbs.
There should'nt be any excuses from anyone on that matter, as if Pac was really having difficulty making 130 lbs, he would have fought JMM at 135 lbs.

......by all accounts from the Pac team, Pac made 130 lbs comfortably for the JMM rematch!

give it a rest, man... jmm will have his turn when he fights casa in sept. and le's see how he does. if he wins this fight, then we can talk about him and pac again this time @135. but their 3rd fight will probably happen sometime mid to late next year since pac will be busy first w/ hatton and maybe even campbell. jmm has to wait in line.

    stacked with what?

The 130 lbs division was better.......the best fighters at lightweight right now are all fighters just moving up from 130 lbs to follow Pac.

Pac, JMM, and Guzman are the best that 135 lbs has to offer right now, the rest of those 135 pounders look rather ordinary to me, Campbell has'nt proven anything from pounding an overrated Juan Diaz, and Casmayor is very close to being a shot fighter, if he is'nt one already.

Believe me, I wont be rating JMM's shellaking of Casamayor as a great feat. If he looks impressive, I'll call it that, but he wont be getting the credit from me for beating a great lightweight, because at this point, Casamayor is nowhere close to being a great lightweight.

Quite simply, there is'nt a natural lightweight out there that is great!
This truth has to be told!

Of course he has to wait in line, the best fighter on the planet always has to when he wants a crack at a media darling such as Pacquiao.

As far as anyone with brains is concerned, the best fighter is always lined up last for a media darling, especially when that media darling has already lost twice to that fighter!:yep :D
