To be specific, David Diaz last match was against Raymon Montano, who is 15-4-2. It was a majority decision victory. Scary, huh?:admin

Why is everyone having a conniption over a SINGLE decision in Pacquiao's career to receive a belt from particular opponent AS IF Pacquiao's entire career was filled of cherry picking, ducking and dodging all within the path of least resistance! Give me a break, This is a guy that has been going back to back fights with guys like Morales/Barrera/Marquez wtf, He started at 106lbs And now its 135lbs and we all know he is willing to go to 140lbs to fight Hatton after this. What the **** is all the freak out over him fighting DAVID DIAZ. AS IF this guy was a D/D- level fighter! This guy is 34-1 regardless of if he has a belt or not. And all of this is because Pac is picking up a belt and/or some serious Pacquiao fans that are extremely happy that their fighter is picking up that belt. Wow get over it, Don't let a few Internet Forum posters distort your reality and perspective for a really really awesome and accomplished Professional boxer. :rofl

    No kidding.

I'm extremely disappointed in Pacquiao for taking this especially with all the soft touches he's had for the past few years and all..

He is a great fighter but lets face it. He has built his name up on famous old Mexican fighters. The only win i will give him credit for is the first MAB fight. That was a prime MAB and he beat him fair and square. IMO and many others he has not beat JMM. And Erik MOrales was past it even when he beat him. Morales had just been in so many wars and fighters like that usually slip bad. PAc took advantage of that.

So if you actually look at his accomplishments they are not that great. He is a great fighter that usually took the high reward type of fights even if the risk was not there. I am not discrediting PAc like you guys might think but to say he has had tough fight all his life is a lie. He has fought great over the hill fighters and that to me is not so commendable.

Indeed. I was thinking of putting one of the many bull**** lines Miranda said above it.

Like when he said "I'll break the otherside of his jaw." :yep

by saying old mexican fighters, i assume you're only taking about morales right? Cuz jmm still has fresh legs imo and would beat anyone else in the 130 lbs division

I'm a massive Morales fan, and I'm even more of a fan of Barrera than I am Pacquiao...But seriously

    Give it up.

It's a bit of denial I'd say don't you think? The only opponent on Pacquiao's resume that that whole theory holds well with is Morales. THATS IT

Because he is trying to credit Pac by also crediting his past opponents. Just like he is crediting Diaz. ITs a Pac hugger thing i guess.

I havent checked Pacland lately but im sure their p4p list goes something like this.
    1. Pac
    2. David Diaz
    3. Donaire
    4. Donaires next opponent
    5. Penalosa
    6. Penalosas next opponent
    7. ....

jeeesh. you guys are overdoing pachating. if pac faces hatton next after beating diaz, you'll discredit that too and say that hatton got beat already by pbf and a pac victory over him won't mean ****. give the man his due. you haters are not half the man pac is.

I dont get your irrational hate for everything Pac related. :huh

Pac's no superhuman deity, but the dude has maximized whatever physical gifts and skills he had, and carved out a pretty remarkable career.

He's not in the top 10 ATG's in boxing history, IMO, but he's still an excellent, entertaining fighter. One of the most fun to watch, ever.

    People cant deny that.
You have to give him that, at least.
