I'm not saying that Jones will win but it would make a rematch more relevant given that Roy built himself back up beat 2 undefeated fighters, 2 future hall of famers, and 5 straight W's on his comeback trail ... add to that the fact that Johnson hasn't been winning as of late due to controversay.

joe has hyped himself up through an over-embellished ego while jones' ego was borne on his natural ability which he showed as the world's best p4p fighter for so many years.

jones has nothing to prove - but he believes he can come back.

calzaghe has a lot to prove and if he loses to jones it backs up everything his critics have said about his career.

i guarantee you now, as a fighter, that calzaghe will not retire on a jones loss.

Calzaghe is looking for big names and big money fights ... he's not going to be able to handle someone up and coming its not worth the risk ... Dawson and Pavlik haven't been in the game that long and they can't produce the same purse as say a Roy Jones ... neither can Tarver.

He won't go down and face someone like Lucian Bute

he's looking for big 'old' names abd big money fights. there's a difference.

its true guys like dawson can't command the same interest (financially or marketably) as jones, but now you know why calzaghe never foguht in the US during jones' and hopkins' prime.

he called them out and called them out, but wouldn't set foot on american soil to improve his fanbase, marketability or grab an undercard PPPV slot to improve the above.

and that was a deliberate decision.
