True. But the flimsiness of the win is why IMO Tyson had a better claim to be champion at that time.

The first quote is not a direct report. Here is what Tyson had to say at that time.

The second link don't demonstrate that Foreman accepted a fight with Tyson.

Mental gymnastics Tyson fanboys are performing in order to explain away Tyson's blatant ducking of Foreman is certainly amusing to witness.

That's a perfectly fair assumption. I don't agree with it, but I can see it.

To be clear: I see nothing wrong with Tyson fighting Paul. But according to this logic, he is a prostitute.

I agree with you, I came to the conclusion with you a long time ago that Tyson was not as brave as Crawford Grimsley, Axel Shulz, Tony Tucker, Lou Savarese and Foreman's fight with Akex Stewart made him panic... I will even give you a hint - you will very easily prove that Tyson avoided the 50-year-old Shavers, Earnie talked about it and never denied it. like Foreman. I'm surprised you even devote time to this coward who was afraid of old people and airplanes.

Did Tyson ever backed out of an agreed fight with Foreman ?
If so, post the instance where that supposed duck happened.

Foreman was not willing to deal with King who was Tyson's promoter. This is why the fight was never made. Not because Tyson or Foreman ducked each other.

That's quite a meltdown. Tyson melted down similarly when fight against Foreman was suggested to him.

It's logical, after the Stewart-Foreman fight he must have come to the conclusion that he has no chance, and we know that he was not as good as Lou Savarese or Crawford Grimsley, so don't be surprised, my friend.
In my opinion, he also panicked when he was offered 50-year-old Shavers.

    Why?
You don't like it when someone agrees with you or when you manage to prove your logic is correct?

Why would anyone take issues with Tyson not facing Foreman in terms of higher ranked more deserving contenders?

If you are ducking someone to fight higher rated more deserving contenders that's a positive
