This thread is dumb, no offense but you cant really compare those stats considerign the differences in each fighter by the time pac go to them. I'm not tyring to descredit what pac has done, but its universally recognized that mayweather fought the better versions of each fighter except for marquez which you didn't list a stat for.

Floyd fought Oscar at 154 which was Oscars true weight!

Floyd fought Hatton when he was undefeated!

Floyd fought Mosley after Mosley destroyed the previous WW Champ Antonio Margarito!

Floyd beat Marquez with ease, which was a mismatch kind of IMO, but we will have to see how Pacman does against him for a third fight!

Relatively styles make fights Floyd does have better defense than Pac but Pac's offense in someway makes up for his defense. I can't wait until these guys step in the ring so these postings can stop!

Manny's best defense is his offense, nothing wrong with that at all.
Floyd has better defense in the sense of what defense really is, i.e. slipping, ducking, rolling, moving etc., it doesn't mean Manny is less effective by keeping the other guy from throwing by continually throwing at him.

Both guys are great fighters, can't take that from them.

Interesting theory but it has to be rejected due to one simple fact:

Punch stats are a crock of ****. They're not reliable in the least.

It is kinda funny though how Floyd almost got his head taken off by Mosley but Pac had no such trouble.

You not taking into consideration the length of the fights ... Hatton went more rounds with May than Pac.

I thought you were going to make a non Pacquiao/Mayweather related thread.

    I was wrong.

Styles make fights. But pac does have underrated D. It's pretty good when it wants it to be. He loves to fight though.
