Mason was definitely Lewis's first big win, on the European scene at least (Mason was the WBC #5 but wasn't known in the States). I don't think it goes in my top ten but it was a valuable one, and a big learning experience. Good point that, for Lewis, going to other people's backyards, defying the boo boys and getting stoppages/points victories was the norm rather than some outstanding occurance.
Spot on. Hell the Tua fight gives Lewis more credit than the Tyson fight and it didn't even make the top 10. :huh
