At any point during the years Lewis was active had he fought Wlad he would have won, Wlad was far to fragile at the time and Lewis would have walked through him.

Now prime for prime, I still go with Lewis by KO, Wlad has improved defensively, I still feel Lewis would press him early and get him out of there in a similar fashion to Sanders (Remember it was Lewis who advised Sanders on how to beat Wlad).

They would be scraping WALDO off the canvas after Lewis was finished with him.

Lewis came out all guns blazing against similar fighters to Wlad - Golota & Grant, so don't talk BS. He also ADVISED Sanders to do what he did vs Wlad, so of course he would have done the same!

Golota and Grant have absolutely NOTHING in common with Wlad. Nothing. Doesn't mean a prime Lewis woudn't win against Wlad, just using Golota and Grant as prime exhibits is absolutely ridiculous.

Back in the day lewis would have destroyed wlad, the no risks wlad v lewis would have been interesting alrite, id slightly go for lewis i think, i think wlad may need his big bro to stand up to lewis

Vitali didn't walk through it, though. He stumbled and started hugging Lewis like he was his daddy.

How about a Peak version of Lewis vs. Peak Wlad?

    Lewis wins.

Don't forget something: Where Vitali has that fight in him, Wlad really doesn't. He doesn't like that kind of fight. Lewis doesn't either but when pressed, he will unleash.

if vitali, who is less skilled and slower than wlad had success landing on lewis from the opening bell, why wlad couldn't?and guess what, wlad hits a lot harder than his brother,so my prediction is,lewis from vitali fight is getting ktfo ala rahman or mccal..pickem

in terms of predicting the fight, assuming that both fighters are focused and have trained properly, i would still have to favour lewis. he had more skill, lessw power, more speed, more experience and a better chin. id expect lewis to win a late stoppage

Lewis at any stage of his career would have beaten the more aggressive Wlad.

Prime Wlad v prime Lewis.... Lewis by KO and even easier in my opinion. Wlad wouldn't be able to jab LL to death for 11 rounds. Skill, size and power wise they are fairly even in their primes but LL's heart and better chin make a huge difference in a theoretical fight between the 2

With respect to the jab-n-grab and lewis-vitali there's a couple of things you have to remember.
Wlad has always been much stronger in the clinch then Vitali. Lewis was walking Vitali down and pushing him around in the clinches and I don't think that would happen against Wlad. Of course that being said Wlad back then wasn't the clinching type and behaved differently in clinches then he does now, even still he waits for the ref to break which is exactly the wrong strategy to use against a guy like Lewis who would be using the clinches as an opportunity to push, butt and punch. The biggest difference between Wlad then in a clinch and Wlad now is that now after you try to out-muscle him a couple of times he'll start to push back with vengeance, again the problem being is that Lewis only needs 'a couple of time' to land the uppercut (that's all Sanders needed to break Wlad, and Lewis knew this).
