Lewis would destroy Wlad

Prime Lewis was a better fighter, who would have beaten Wlad. Very similar styles, very close fight. Lewis could afford to fight less cautiously then Wlad however. I would pick Lewis by a close UD.... I actually think this would be a very tedious fight, with not that many big shots. Jabbing contest if there ever was one.

He very well could. If Wlad can make improvements, he POTENTIALLY could beat Lewis. He doesn't have the competition to showcase such ability at this point however, and I don't do hypotheticals. My decision stands.

No, i live in today, you are living in a ficticious future made to suit your apparent personal bias. Lennox would have dealt with a guy like Sultan in far more dominant fashion. Wlad needs to progress, not move backwards. At this point, Lewis can still out box him, by turning up his punch output when he needs to. Style wise, its a very close fight though because both guys are so similar. It will be a close fight, regardless of how much Wlad improves also. A very tedious fight as well.

 

:smoke LL couldnt dominate guys like BRUNO and MAVORIC or MERCER ect ! none boxed as effectively as IGGY ! VLADs worst performence was in a fight against a tricky southpaw in which he won every round ! other then that he has dispatched most other oponents ( many more then LL in fact ) by ko ! :deal please dont base the best of LL against the worst of VLAD ! its a close fight to call ! :good

 

Sultan was his worse performance... What about Brewster, Sanders, Purity??? Did you forget about those mate. Lewis knocked Bruno out in brutal fashion. Not bad for an ineffective performance. Bruno is a better fighter then Sultan by a long shot as well. Same with mercer. Your kidding yourself.

 

You seem to have the bias my friend in saying "regardless of how Wlad improves". Wlad did exatly the right moves in moving back from his opponents advance to create the distance between the two. It was Iggy who couldn't make the fight any differant! I see Stewards instructions taken to the letter. It was a good fight for the purests and a boring fight for the likes of yourself who kno f'all about boxing and must have a 'kill'. I still see Wlad progressing to a level way clear of Lewis, who was a complete letdown against orthodox Tua. As well as old Tyson (took 7 f'n rounds, and over the hill Evander, who by popular vote was robbed of their 2nd outing. Wlad can under the continuing tutelage of Steward up his work rate as well, and find more angles. It might be a close fight with todays Wlad, but we know NOW that wlad can improve and with faith in that I'd say at least KO by 7 Wlad over Lewis in theirs primes. :yep :smoke

Its silly to say that Lewis didnt dominate Mavrovic, he hit him with every punch in the book and won by a landslide. Mavrovic just happened to have an amazing chin.
