So just to clarify ... They were there. They never threw or received a punch, they done nothing. They were arrested. Hhmmmmmm strange one.
You can be arrested on 'suspicion' with absolutely no evidence whatsoever. My ex was a crazy ****er who repeatedly got me arrested for all sorts of rubbish. I would then spend 18 hours in the ****ing cells, given an NFA and expected to be happy about it.
Yes but for only them (who apparently threw or received no punches) and one othewr guy to get nicked all seems a bit strange.
Only takes one bloke to make the accusation and you'll all be arrested until it is investigated and resolved one way or the other. If you're charged, that's a different story.
In most cases on city centre night out situations the police will actually hold the accused there until they see actual CCTV evidence. But I see where you're coming from, maybe the other fella who got arrested hit some fella, said fella then pointed him out and because he was with the Smith brothers and he knew who they were he put the finger on them too. Whats the story with the beef between Fielding and the Smiths?
