Yeah, that’s your opinion mate, I could be overrating him but we’ll see in time. In the end, after all the delaying and Smith deciding to go into the tournament, Dirrell pulled out of the fight with Benavidez anyway.

I might not rate Smith but I would have picked him over the poor dirrell

    Best British fight this year.

Hope Williams wins but he did look to be fading in their first fight, although he was winning handily.

If Williams can pace his work better this time round he should take this.

Hoping Williams gives Smith a pasting. Very biased observer here but don't buy into the stuff that Smith took him lightly last time, I just think Williams is better than him.

He did wait and wait and was asked to wait some more. He was then asked to enter the WBSS, and against fast car's advice he accepted. If you don't rate him then fine, but if you watch his interviews from around the time I don't think you can question his motives. In an age of belts being held hostage and fighters not wanting to challenge themselves, I don't think Callum entering the WBSS should be criticised.

Yeah i think the headbutt takes the shine away from what Smith actually did in that fight. He showed MASSIVE heart and metal.

    Still a horrible headbutt though

Missing weight then winning with a headbutt was not a great advert for boxing. I didn't like how Smith looked down on Williams either, presumably because of the paperest of paper titles he held. War Williams for me!

Good fight and should be an enjoyable card. I'll take Williams on points, I think.

Spot on, though I expect Smith to be a lot more competitive early on this time.

IF Williams paces himself he wins. Use some angles, going missing a little. He did tire and the headbutts were awful. I mean they weren't even hidden. Smith showed grit and heart and a will to win but in terms of skill level Williams is the better fighter but he has to make it his fight

I agree but I also wouldn’t be surprised if he lets it pan out the way it did last time. Butt or not Williams was done out there, he had nothing left. He through everything he had at Smith and couldn’t get rid of him. Then when Smith turned it on he couldn’t cope with him.

Because his eye was hanging out due to a disgraceful headbutt.

Smith will stop him. Williams won the first 6 easy last time and he is the better boxer but he was going to get stopped last time. Williams had gone. I just needed Williams to come out for the next round and then it get stopped for a £200 accumulator win.

The only difference is this time Smith knows he's tougher than Williams so he'll come out fast and try and get him out of there. Williams will have success and Smith might have to handle a couple of tough early rounds but I think he'll stop him in rounds 7-9.

    I've said this plenty now

    But rewatch the fight

Yes williams shape was breaking down but until the headbutt I had him winning that round. Then he was all over the shop.

If the headbutt didn't happen I think he would have lost the last few rounds but held onto pts decision.
