Haha, thx for the welcome. Actually it was a bit before Josh dropped the belt, to which I'm assuming you are referencing.
But ye, had some issues with family and I've been ill in the middle of it all so my time on social media and just generally mixing with friends etc has been next to non existent.
Anyhow, kid has a big fight coming up so good luck, although I'm supporting Jazza in this one, simply because I've been a fan of jazza for a long time and I really like the lad.

    Cheers bud.
Maxi, Ye I think he'll win the british this time. Like most British fighters, he always set his heart on winning the title, he's come up short on 2 previous occasions. Once against MJ ward and the other against Bowen, however I think that maxi has now found himself within the sport, he had a close fight against Walsh and has been on a winning streak since then with big wins against Jono and Viktor. He's confident in his style and now that he's found his groove I think he's hitting a bit harder. Good chance that he'll stop hyland and not sure off the winner has to face walshy as he was the one that had to pull out of the fight to give maxi his chance. If he has to face Walsh then we'll get to see how much hes really progressed since he last met Walsh.

Saw a Gallagher interview earlier. Apparently beefy has been out training with robles, seems JG didn't know anything about it till rumours started on Twitter.
Seems Joe is waiting to hear from beefy on the matter which is a bit rude from beefy imo

He's fighting out in Russia on May 8th against Kurbanov.

Also seen his recent IFL interview where he said he's out in the states training with Robles.... which is something he tries to do each year.

Tough fight. Looking forward to it. Kurbanov is no joke.

As a boxing fan the Kurbanov fight is a good one. As a Beefy fan its a not a great fight for him imo.

Is it for some kind of eliminator? Surely it is, as outside the boxing hardcore he’ll get no credit for winning that fight.

Hearns plan - Send Liam to Russia, gives him a fight and most likely get him beat and knocked back down to domestic level purses. If he fights on, he can then match him up with Cheeseman and Fitzgerald etc

I think it's just got to the stage where Beefy just wants to fight.

He's in his prime years and needs to be active and in the world title mix.

I think he's on the decline now, the style with how he fights never tends to age well.
