Gervonta Davis ended the Liam Walsh hype train on Boxnation/BT Sports.

That brutal 3rd round KO is reality.

He showed no survival IQ to get safe when hurt, as Davis was railing on him on him with the left hand 10 times before he would go down.

it was even less competitive as I expected.
at least this fight went like it should, without some of the bullshirt we've seen yesterday.

 

He looked impressive , great punching accuracy and variety of shots

 

the speed he shoots his lead left and rights was mesmerizing. Anyone know how much he got for this fight seems they laughing all the way back to the US.

 

Felt a bit for walsh last nite. Really think davis is a top talent. That,ll end up being ruined by mayweather. Funny set up looks like hes got his own trainers and then floyd keeps trying to take over. Think davis was something like 210 - 15 as an amatuer. Walsh a good fighter but the guy just looked on a different level. Worst shout of the nite goes to walshs brother...rematch in vegas. Must be a saddist. Followed by woodhall. Referee was spot on...could have possibly stopped it at the first knockdown but stayed close enough to intervene quickly enough...good refereeing.

My guess is they got paid well for it but davis wont see much of it. They ll buy him a car etc. Put it in his name. Then it,ll come back as debt in years to come. Cant see anything but the kid getting exploited. Floyds a dick. But looks like some of them guys around davis make him look like a stand up guy.

 

Kind of hoping its not a sign to come with spence/brook next week. Another guy their hyping big time over in the states. Tbf brooks not walsh. Also think controversially that davis is better than spence or on the way to being better giving time anyway. But hoping spence isnt as good as their saying. Fancy brook for the job. But starting to worry a bit after that last nite. Bit like their hyping them for a reason.

Walsh not exactly the worlds number one...but he made that look easy last nite. Looks a talent.
