You can do calesthenics and look just as good but be healthy for life.

Ahhhh. So now we're talking bodybuilders and powerlifters, guys that push themselves to the limit daily. So what exactly does that have to do with anyone on this forum?

You're trying to save me from being strong, fast, flexible, powerful, what?

It'a amazing that you come to a boxing forum, a sport which most likely will **** you up at some point or another and whine like a ***** about lifting weights which has the potential to possibly **** you up if you don't know what you're doing. Superb logic, mate.

    I'm talking 3x3 or 5x5? Or even 5x4x3x2x1?

    And for a decade straight?

I used to do it. And I'm afraid I'll be ****ed up later in life.

I did it for 10 years.

    WTF was I thinking?

I don't want to get a hip replacement or knee replacement when I'm older.

    I'm terrified.

I just want to let all the young kids out there not to make the same mistake I did.

Was what I was doing considered power lifting?

I used to do Bigger Faster Stronger program religiously.

But I typically would avoid cleans.

Never heard of that program in my life.

Just to add, YOU ****ed yourself up lifting weight, the weights didn't **** you up. Get that into your head and move on.

But how do I know if I'm ****ed up?

    When will I show signs?

Don't do it man. I never had a serious injury or anything.

But I ****ed myself up...I think.

Either way, I'll pay for this **** when I'm older.

    Just do calesthenics.

Stop ****IN up your body. You're young. You don't know ****. That ****in dumbass on steriods doesn't know what the **** he's talkin about.

    You're doing the opposite.

I suppose you're making people laugh, though.

    How?

What do you think poses a greater chance of being ****ed up when you're older?

Lifting heavy ass weights or calesthenics?

I know you lift heavy ass weights because I've seen your posts.

Aren't you worried that all that 400lb deadlifting is going to catch up to you?

    Or squatting over 315?

    Or box squats?

Man, I'm telling you. DOn't do it.

So you're saying every single athlete or average person that lifts weights is 100% going to end up in a wheel chair or in immense pain every day because they lifted weights?
