    Future champ Myung Woo Yuh was at one stage in his career 13-0 (0), and being 108lbs he surely hit with less clout than even Slapsie Maxie.

    And if you include WBOgue rubbish then Welshman Barry Jones did not stop any of his opponents in his career.

    And a 100 pound housewife can lift cars off the ground to save their children in adrenaline fueled moments, which would make world class strongmen.

    It's the rarest exception to the rules. A anomaly.

    Zuri Lawrence is a damned big heavyweight still active today and he's never knocked anyone out.

    Pretty weird.

    :lol::rofl

    For my 2 cents, Locche was a good example of a light hitter, albeit one with an artificially low KO percentage, which get exaggerated by his lack of a killer instinct (it seemed like he loved to clown opponents more than actually hurting them) and throwing alot of arm shots when he'd counter. In the Fuji fight, when he put more torque on his punches, Paul's face looked like it was stuffed with marshmallows by the end of it. Nico would never be confused for being a power puncher, of course, but I think he left KO's on the table. If we were making a ranking of punching power, I'd put him a notch above "pillow fist".

    Malignaggi's an even better example- most of his fights, by the time he's done, his opponent's face doesn't even look like they've been in a fight.

    Other thing is though, in all of his fights, I've never seen someone walk through Calzaghe's shots unfazed to continue with their gameplan despite facing some solid chins. One of the keys to look for is how oppoents respect someone's punching power- whether or not counterpunchers will risk countering or will just cover up, and how aggressive people are in attacking with combinations. How they feel about the opposition's punching power has alot to do with their choice.

    He won't be confused with Julian Jackson or Bob Fitzsimmons, but he's got effective enough power.

    from memory jones never really threw his punches correctly. well schooled and had a good jab but he seemed to drag his punches. landed on freitas's chin and the whole place were either cheering or howling.

    The problem was Jones could not believe it either! He should of just gone all out to try and stop Freitas.
