Due to the weekend action I think this fight has flown under the radar somewhat, but it could be a real good 'un So who wins? All credit to simpson travelling to lindsays backyard to try win back the title he (imo wrongly) lost to appleby, but I think lindsay will get the decision on Wednesday.
I'd fancy Simpson in this one, but it better be clear (9-3 or stoppage) - because I don't recall him ever winning a close decision. Ripped off against Dazzo Williams, and basically split fights with Mathews, Foster, Appleby and Smith. Lindsay is a good fighter but for some reason I just don't think he's THAT good, in terms of progressing past domestic level at least.
Lindsay decision. I doubt it will be easy but Simpson is going to have to win it twice to get the decision.
haven't been impressed with Lindsay in his last 2 fights. Simpson better go there and lay it all on the line though as he won't get a decision!
Really good fight this one. I think Lindsay should take it on points but Simpson's been in pretty good form over the last few years and was unlucky against Smith.
Simpson KO for me to upset the odds. He'll make it messy and has had enough bad luck with decisions on his travels to know he'll need to stop Lindsay. I think he goes in there with a gameplan for all-out war from the off and wears Lindsay down. There will be blood.
Simpson has never been beat fairly, he's been robbed everytime. But yet again he's having to go into someones backyard so unless he gives Lindsey a real beating or KO's him, he'll prob get robbed again.
Not likely imo, Lindsay looks like world class talent at this point. Id say he will give Lindsay the toughest test of his career but Lindsay wins clearly on points. Not all of Simpsons losses have been robberies either, i havent seen too many of his fights but Paul Appleby beat him legit imo
