Don't you mean "now"? He hit Curry while he was going down, and hit Leonard when he was down. Just thought I'd bring him up and who said Hopkins was my hero? I clearly said in another thread whoever wins Hops/Jones 2 will be my avatar and the loser will be my profile pic.
are you donkim/princemanzpopper/gimmeyapudpud ? it is good to know it but i did not try to doubt or question the competitive advantage effects of asthma medication despite never knowing it. i just said that he probably did not know it and also that he did not swallow those water anyway , as fighters spit the water they are given in the break anyway for some unknown (for me) reason. maybe he was just stupid and did not care too much as he was interested in the actual fights and not too much in his gloves , just trusted his team , you know ?
yes , i meant "now" and edited it , don't know how it happened. well , tua hit moorer while moorer was going down too , bowe hit a downed buster mathis jr. , jones jr. hit a downed montell griffin , cooney really landed a combo on a downed norton. but true , norris was the best at it. no doubt. 3 DQ's and then what you say. OK , it is a big mistake to go down or take a knee against terry norris. very much wrong. and i forgot abraham whom just did it recently.
Fixed that for you. You wouldn't believe how many fights that has happened in which you've just mentioned a few:good. I love my fighters but am not shy when admitting their faults like I just did with Jones in yer paragraph.
and in jones' case i still haven't mentioned the water in the neutral corner everlasting affair. a perpetual phenomenon in his fights. but do you doubt the fact that hopkins is the dirtiest fighter ever ? i did not mean aggravated assault in here , as even his post prison employment was not aggravated assault , just strong arm robbery.
:think I didn't know about that I'll check it out if I get RJJ's career set. Hell no and I'm a fan of his. Like I said I'm not shy about admitting faults of my favorite fighters.
interim summary : hopkins : headbutts , holding and hittting , pushes , faking lowblows , clinching. terry norris : hitting downed opponents diego corales : spitting his mouthpiece (should have been his nickname as it is written next to his name and is linked to him even more than 'chico') holyfield : headbutts. fritzie zivic : laces , elbows , those who read books know. kabary salem : not a recognizable name , but certainly someone to learn the art of fouling from. greb and angott (?)were also mentioned , but no films , right ? it is incoming to 10 , good replies currently. and the ancient gloves / wraps and relatively newer banned substance criminal (depends on the exact extent and manner of it , regarding especially the gloves thing) offenses as well . which involves especially : luis resto , antonio margarito and felix trinidad , some will also add oscar delahoya. and it is really hard for me to believe that the gloves/wraps story is a new thing. after all , it could have been done since the inception of gloves. does anybody know about old time stories of the wrapping techniques , its pioneers ?
billy dib. danny williams. floyd mayweather (elbows). roberto duran. sugar ray leonard. golota. ruiz. derek chisora. holyfield. tyson. bhop. too many to mention.
It shows many fights from a fighters career and you can find them online. It'll usually have a fighter's biggest fights and leave out many fights when they were green. I like them. Well he's the dirtiest boxer that's all I know.
Terry Norris was such a hothead in there. "Oh look it's the back of his head and he's on the ground, I must hit him now!" "The ref is in the middle of us two and the bell already rang, I can hit him now right?!" "He's down on the canvas, let me run across the ring and hit him!" It's a good thing all the guys he fought weren't actors like Luis Santana. He'd have way more DQ losses than "only" three.
