    Yes and it took Liston almost 6 years to get to 19 fights.

    Rocky Two years.

    Rocky was retired after a seven years career.

    12 fights first year.

    What earthly difference does that make? Liston was in prison from 56 to58 . Jesus you are desperate!

    They both weighed the same 188 for the fight. Moore was 38, ROcky 32.
    Moore fought for 8 more years and 30 more fights, including two ATG bouts with Yvonne Durelle;
    the fight with Moore was Marcianos final fight.

    Rex Layne: Liston by KO in 7?

    Joe Louis: If older Joe boxes him, Liston would have problems. Joe could look ok for 8 rounds, then tire. Liston by KO 9, with Joe up a point?

    Ezzard Charles 1: Liston ahead early then Ezzard comes on late. Charles by very close Split Decision 15 win?

    Ezzard Charles 2. Charles never really in this one. Liston by KO 10?

    Joe Walcott 1: Walcott's style gives Liston fits, but Sonny's reach and power keep it close. Walcott by Split Decision 15 win?

    Joe Walcott 2: Walcott suddenly gets old. Liston by KO 1.

    Roland Lastarza 1: Liston by KO 6?

    Roland Lastarza 2: Liston by KO 8?

    Archie Moore: Even after 4 rounds. Liston by KO 5?

    So, IMHO, Liston goes 7-2 against the group, and his 2 losses are close ones.

    Ok you got me they are decent wins but i still stick to my belief that he was to small and old to credit Marciano for a great win
