By non ATG I mean as in overall status as a fighter. Liston vs Shavers Lyle Mike Weaver Andrew Golota
InMemoryOfJakeLamotta ? 14 posts in 1 day and all heavyweight related. If i am mistaken then i apologise to the new member, but a sneaky feeling tells me i am correct, so i guess another i.p. check by a moderator please to clear it up.
Is this guy Lamotta that bad just for making threads? We have a poster in another thread whose been making personal attacks and homophobic comments and I’m waiting for the mods to do something about it.
I agree with this. I've seen on here people being called every name going ,there's no need for it to get so personal. Its difference of opinion s at the end of the day ,no need to get so rattled. As Long as it relates to boxing what's the problem? Where do u draw a line at what u can and can't post, just because some one doesn't like it ! I don't know the ins and outs of LaMotta s situation, that's up to the Mods but as for posting something that's actually boxing related ..well sorry ,but I could have sworn it's a boxing forum .
Shavers has a slight chance if he can land big real real early. But I think a few stiff jabs from Sonny makes Earnie back off and not be his aggressive self. And a reduced aggressive shavers has no chance. Lyle is by a good margin, the guy most likely to cause problems and can hang tough. Weaver has no chance and gets bombed out early. Same with Golata and his defense. Bombed out & he never could do his going forward at all times against the hitters.
Shavers came within inches of beating a heavyweight who was potentially greater than Sonny. Maybe 1 in every 10 fights he'd come as close or go one better against Sonny. There's certainly no one I'd come close to favouring in a one of over Sonny on that list though.
Liston is a strong favourite over them all. I'd expect him to emerge undefeated from a gauntlet of those truth be told.
I have no idea why he was booted this time but his 2 previous accounts were permabanned for continual posting of Deontay Wilder threads in this forum. He is an attention seeker ffs, at one point last year he created 15 or so threads, one after the other, all random heavyweight stuff. That is not normal behaviour.
Cheers for the like there Suzie. Trust me, i am not the only one who was fed up with his 8-10 heavyweight threads daily.
I've seen comments like "Kill yourself" and others making light of suicide here too, that just shouldn't be accepted in this day and age on a moderated forum, it might just seem like a comment to some, but no one knows anyone's circumstances
