WTF? is Frank already talking about McDonnell going to world level after just one more fight?

This was just his 21st fight, he's only 25 and he's not looking world class atm. Just keep him busy, keep defending his titles. Bring the odd Mexican over to get some experience and fringe world level and see how he does.

No point sticking him in at the deep end - there's no easy fights at world title level at bantam.

Remember that Glen himself was once considered in a way 'world' class.

Really looking forward to watching del Valle again late provided Premier show it. Not the best of opponents to be honest, more a backward step, but I'd expect a bit of an exception for him.

I also reckon Miranda's a decent enough opponent for Russel Jr. We should be able to see a bit more about whether he merits anywhere near the hype he gets at the mo from some

    :good

The gulf is massive esp, at the lower divisions.

That said, as I type, Maloney and McCrory are saying McDonnell is world class......;)

Going down the world route Maloney said, both are relatively high in the WBC rankings to my knowledge, it's certainly somewhat feasible.

EDIT: McCrory is a ****ing spoon.

Not I. I think he's around the level of Rendall Munroe. Will succeed at Euro level but will fall short against the top guys.

keep Mcdonnell well away from Donaire, Mares, Agbeko etc obviously. If he wants a title, go for Koki. Not that I reckon he'd win that either

    McCrory :rofl

Just had a look and Santa Cruz is 17 with the WBC atm. Can't see Maloney risking that.

If Maloney is serious about moving McDonnell to world level then Tshifhiwa Munyai might be a fight we could see. Munyai is no.6 WBC and he's fought in Britain before.

Can't believe Sky are going on with these world class/world level bollocks :patsch

"A world class performance" This post-fight stuff is hilarious.

Great fight, both good guys and both very exciting to watch around domestic level but bantamweight is a seriously stacked division. It's not being harsh but neither has any real chance with any of the genuine top 20, let alone beating any of the best.

Well you could understand Maloney saying being his promoter and all but the pundits are there to give their unbiased opinion. ****ing hate when pundits lick arse and know they are talking shite. We need a rebel on there who tells it like it is.
