    I wasn't wrong. I know Lyell is "your boy" but he's tough and gutsy.

    If Duddy boxes, he shuts him out.

    Instead Duddy went all go hung wooha mother****er and got beaten in a war.

    So...where was I wrong?

    He isn't my boy other than being 'home grown'. I've never seen him fight. Overall, you did make a good call though, just hedged a little. But that is why we have the fights.

    Thanks. Even thought the guy is local, I've never seen him fight. I'd suspect a lot of the people making those statements above hadn't either. Someone told me a guy from maxbox was expecting people to be surprised by Billy in this fight so that gave me a little hope. I just wanted a good showing for the kid.

    Nice read. I'd really like to see the whole fight sometime though. Not just the camcorder youtube abbreviation.

    Fair play to Lyell, he obviously shouldn't have been underestimated. But still, that's a ****ing sickening result for Duddy.:gsg

    I hope Lyell gets a lot of mileage out of this, but he'll never last with the elite. Manfredo would be best to use Lyell for his next bout. Big ups to Jack Loew for getting his man on a strick game plan that exposed a likable, but fairly protected fighter.
