Loma begging and pleading for a rematch

Would be nice to see that massive head snapped with surgical punching again though. Managed to get himself trapped on the ropes as well, the master boxer.

 

Just had the guy right in front of him a few days ago and checked out, admitting that he purposely gave away the last round.

Now he wants the guy in front of him again?

 

Doubt Haney will go for it but if he does, kudos

If Haney can still make 140 then run it back. It's a big money fight for both why not?

 

If he wanted to fight Haney so bad, why not fight the final 3 minutes when he was already fighting him?

Instead, he admits after that he gave away the 12th round and didn’t feel the need to try to win it.

If you really want to fight someone, and you’re in the ring with them, seems like that would be a good time to do it.

 

Appealing to a sense of fair play he's unlikely to find in modern sport...

Honour doesn't talk, money and cache does - the lack of rematch would have to risk damage to Haney's legacy more than the risk of losing for it to happen.

It was a close fight, I had Loma winning like most people did, but it was within the kind of margins you sometimes see with protecting unified champions.

 

That requires Tank not ducking... Which would frankly be out of character.

 

Good luck on that, you can't force an unwilling fighter, this story has played out many times....

 

Any fight can be made if they’re willing to throw enough money at Haney.
