He quit but he has a right to. the crowd and fans are never the ones that are in there fighting and they are to be played with by what fighters to say. Much the same way they are in any sports. fans are pawns

He quit....could have made it too later rounds. Of course I can't speak on anyone else but I've hit heavy bags full power with fractured hand and that's without tons of tape or hand wraps......

When adrenaline kicks in you barely notice pain and these guys are a buck 130 ?

I think someone mentioned the weigh in on here? I looked at that also and didn't see FULL confidence in Rigo?

Either way I think for whatever reason Rigo didn't think he could win after the 4th round but should he give up? Don't know the fighters that well but it would take a puddle of blood to get me to quit in under any circumstance.......and I certainly wouldn't quit on a stool unless I couldn't breath. Lol

A little disappointed but will follow Loma after this just cause.

    Rigo quit period.

fans minds and opinions are to be played with. they are toys and pawns to high level athletes that goes in any sports. Get used to it. That is how every top athlete will treat you differently. Your minds are able to be manipulated. He quit. He wanted to do what he wanted to do oh well.

Roman Martinez is his best win and a solid win, but other than that what are his great wins.

Gary Russell Jr. - small and tailor made for Loma.

Nicholas Walters - Good puncher, but had been inactive for over a year.

Jason Sosa - Nothing special, since even a shot Gamboa beat him.

Rigo - Old and small. A complete mismatch.

Loma competition besides Salido and Martinez has been overrated.

That was definitely a quit. You could tell from his body language. Its laughable that he said he had a bad hand when he landed nothing to even cause that hand injury. He was claiming he hurt his left hand- clearly faked

Which was a very debatable decision. I think most people who watched that fight were expecting Sosa to win the decision. Not saying Gamboa fought poorly, but he really didn't do anything to Sosa. Sosa pretty much outboxed Gamboa, knocked him down and should have won the decision imho.

The air was kinda thick in New York. Maybe he broke it swinging at the air.
