Rigo is not more skilled than Crawford. He does nothing better either. And I don't watch boxing to see who was outboxed for this amount of rounds. The end result is what matters. You do everything you do to win a fight. And Bud won by ko in both fights. We also didn't plan to see Salido win rounds on Loma either. Not only did he win rounds he won the fight.

That was years ago and in his 2nd pro fight. There have been boxers who had losses and were ranked p4p #1. Loses don’t automatically eliminate a boxer from being ranked #1

It does when you compare Bud and Loma.

No insecurity issues with this man, he knows his own opinion carries no weight. Humble and very level headed !

Obviously it doesn’t hold up as there are more who feel Loma is p4p king although it’s a tight race

It isn't a race to me. It's as clear as day.

For a lot of fans of either guy, it’s crystal clear....but fans who are unbiased see the argument for both of these boxers. They have both accomplished enough and provided performances that could easily give them the edge. It’s just razor thin

He controls range and distance far better, has better timing, better defense, as is his footwork, usually from the opening bell. Bud can be outboxed by fighters with a modicum of skill for a little while, do you think someone as rudimentry as Ricky Burns could take 3 debatably 4 rounds off of Rigo if they were the same size? Or Dulorme, Postol kept the first 4 rounds evenish, even Lundy has success in the first, Bud is great, there's no denying that, but he does need a few rounds to get the lay of the land and read his opponents, but Rigo has them figured out from the opening bell. Not saying anything bad about Bud, merely stating the obvious, Rigo is ridiculously skilled on a P4P level comparable to Ward and Mayweather, Bud is close, but I've yet to see him face someone elite to back that up, that's including Gamboa.

Does that apply to everyone? Hopkins lost early in his career for example so would you not have been able to think of him as P4P even though he was a top MW with many defences

Not to me. When you factor everything in Bud is pfp best. And that is from an unbiased fan in myself.

We're only talking about Loma and Bud at the moment.

How can you be when you wrote
Fighters can lose and still be recognised. You must know this.

So does what you wrote apply to all so that fighters like Hopkins cold not have been P4P to you?

If they were the same size it would be a good fight. If Lomachenko moved up to challenge Crawford, it wouldn't end well for him.
