Every old dirty mofo in boxing history has to smile in appreciation knowing their "tricks" haven't become extinct thanks to Salido keeping the memory alive. Normal fighters would've been DQ'd a dozen times over, but with Siri, that's just part of the charm. It's just not the same Siri experience if you ref him fairly lol.
Anything is possible, fighting with a broken nose is no joke, and if it's never happened to you, if could freak you out a bit. But there's nothing to suggest Salido could have mounted any kind of comeback especially being down 7 points after the first 3 rounds. Mikey was controlling him for the most part, and Salido was only trying to have success by playing dirty. He's dirty and that's it.
Alt, Todd or whatever your name is lol, Salido's face was starting to become mincemeat. Every time Salido came on Garcia did more damage. I don't have a problem with Garcia quitting. If it becomes hard for you to breath due to a headbutt to the nose then so be it. Keywords: Headbutt to the nose.
Obviously any time you can avenge a defeat its a good thing but... not really sure what a win over Salido really means at this point other than the * next to your record of being able to say you beat every fighter you ever fought. But really, Salido was long in the tooth in their first fight, let alone now.
Agreed, what an f'ing punk Salido is, and the flunkie ref let it happen. Salido should have been DQ'd.
Salido cheated so hard the first go. Wasn't even a Loma fan when they fought and I couldn't believe my eyes. Loma will stop him this time inside of 8.
**** that, I'm moving the goalposts. Just give me a minute to think of one. I will never let Lomo ever in a million years let him get a pass for losing to a journeyman gatekeeper and claim P4P!
I hear you... though I wouldnt say quite damned if he does. Its still a nice * to say you avenged your defeats. History rarely takes the contexts into accounts when discussing these things, and even if they did, still better to do it then to not to I suppose.
