Wonder if the whole Barnett vs Judo that they played up in Japan thing had anything to do with it. I like Lombard as a fighter, but want Schlemenko to win because his primary strategy is to throw so many spinning backfists and spinning kicks that the opponent doesn't know what to do. And he always looks kind of indifferent.

very much the case, in the gym he was like this, good guy when hes belting people but the second someone does something he doesnt like he goes into super hero mode... i remember saying one day when he sparred with some kid with one fight nearly broke the kids legs from kicks, why would any amatuer spar this dude, go get a real pro and let him have a go, glad there not taking his crap over there
Well, when two people are sparring it's a silent etiquette not to go full force. If someone has a huge hole in his striking or made a big mistake, let them know but don't do damage. In fact Barnett is one of the guys who will punish you for a mistake instead of just "let you know".
I have seen and worked first hand with Lombard and a bigger idiot you could not find. The bloke is a gym troll as everyone gets burnt by him (financially and physically) and gives him the arse. Holding pads for him is like lining up in front of a sniper.
