Cant wait to see Lombardo in action again. If he devastates again, it's time for Dana to move in with his pink purse
Lombard looks great beating on cans and journeymen. However I'm not sold on him yet. He is explosive and has power but his stand-up ain't that great. He swings wildly with his head down and a good striker would take advantage of that. Obviously his ground game is excellent and is where he should focus, being a Judo Olympian and BJJ black belt. I think he may be in danger of falling in love with his power as many wrestlers have, like Koscheck or Evans did and I think that will come back to bite him in the arse, like it did with Koscheck and Rashad.
Hector's record looks superb at 27-2-1, but it really lacks big names. Of course, the same can be said of Shlemenko who is 30-4. I'd like to see them in Strikeforce or the UFC. They will get better fights and develop as a result. I'm picking Lombard by TKO on this one.
